“Journey to Minami Island” is a Survival Game about a Fruit Enthusiast travelling to the legendary Island of fruits in search of the rarest, most delicious fruit of all: The famous Aurora Gem, rumored to have the perfect flavor balance.

This game was created within 9 days for Godot Wild Jam 71.

Controls

  • WASD - Move
  • Shift (hold) - Run
  • F - Interact
  • C - Eat Fruit from Inventory
  • Q/E - Previous/Next item in inventory
  • Tab - Open/Close Notebook (a.k.a. FruitDex)

Running and swimming will will tire you out faster than normal walking.

Gamepads should be supported, but this was not properly tested.

Known Issues
  • The season icons are placeholders, the correct ones did not make it into the game. (Green: Spring or any Season, Purple: Summer, Orange: Autumn, Blue: Winter)
  • The Ending cutscene was just finished right after the game was submitted and did not make it in the game. SPOILER: Here it is:

  • The background for the 'controls' section in the main menu is missing.
  • Theres at least one wrong translation (when you first wake up in summer).
  • Currently, you can win by just eating two fruits overall (there two gaps in the walls)
  • There is one fruit that is supposed to turn you into a tree. That effect also did not make it into the game yet.
